is it really necessary to tell me "the tall ships are coming!" every 5 minutes on our store PA system (oh disembodied voice)? construction has made it nearly impossible to get downtown anyway ... hoping to be at curiosa & away from all of this mess ...

Had my toe frozen/ day surgery removal of the offensive toenail, am going out to mow the lawn before it completely wears off (upside: will finally stop complaining)... City Field/ Matt Grimson at tribeca last weekend- late show, lots of dancing/ dapper suits - lovely reminder of why I love this town (sometimes) ... I'll be up at work all night tomorrow so don't expect to see me out in the next while ...
